We always have so much fun. Every city has wonderful, hidden historic gems like the cemeteries we’ll be visiting. Most people don’t stop to check them out thinking that they’re “just cemeteries.” Around here, we have plenty of famous people buried in cemeteries: Eliot Ness, John D. Rockefeller, and plenty more. But there are the other, not-so-famous people I find fascinating. We’ll see the graves of a gypsy king, a Native American Wild West star, and we’ll tell plenty of ghost stories!

And as a side note about how life imitates fiction …I’m doing a trolley tour of cemeteries this Sunday in conjunction with a local library. What fun! We’re going to do drive-bys on some of the locations from the Pepper books, plus visit 6 historic cemeteries. We’ll be getting out and prowling around 3 of them. So looking forward to it! I can only hope I do half as good a job as a tour guide as Pepper does!
