I am a South African living in Germany. The movies based on your books I watched on Sunday evenings on german television. They were lovely ! Great scenery and interesting, adorable characters. I write stories myself and enjoy using my imagination.

I would like to start by saying I just finished reading Wedding Ring. I truely enjoyed it. It was the first book of yours I have ever read. I was born in Maryland and traveled to Virginia. I like reading books that I know the area they are talking about.

First of all, I want to tell how much I enjoy your books. I enjoy history and I absolutlely love Whiskey Island and Iron Lace. But, Whiskey Island, oh the history and your coverage of the generations. I could hardly put it down and then didn't want it to end and was sad when it did. I am a genealogy nut and it was "right up my alley".I just found your website and wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your writing. I need to start searching for all the 'jewels' you have written. I have read several, but am thrilled to see there are some out there that I haven't read. I haven't read any of the Shenandoah series, so the hunt will be on. Oh, I am also envious of your wonderful shells you collected! My daughter bought me a package of sea shells for Christmas. They are beautiful. I live in Minnesota and have never been to the ocean. Maybe someday I will have the opportunity to go and hunt for some :) Thank you for your wonderful books

I just finished reading Sister'sChoice. I just loved it. As it happened, while I was reading it, that my daughter, who lives in Clark County, shared that she and her husband, are expecting their lst baby. That news just added to the drama, as the novel unfolded, practically in the same "neck of the woods". May God bless, as you continue to use the gift He blessed you with. Sincerely, Ellen Donahue
